Wyse 5010 Dx0D, ThinOS -- factory reset

We'd like to lock down our Wyse 5010 Dx0D, ThinOS once it's configured correctly.

My question is -- how can I factory reset the device if it's locked down and I can't push a new .ini file to it?

I'm anticipating a situation where the connection to the FTP server gets hosed, and because I have the machine locked down, there's no way of fixing the FTP credentials or whatever.  The "press G during bootup to reset" fix is not working for me.  

I noticed a small button inside the enclosure that I can hit with a paperclip, but I don't normally just start pressing buttons.
