Dell 7579 staticky build in mic

Hi

On wednesday 02/08/2017 i purchased dell 7579 2in1 notebook from bestbuy to talk to my parents via skype when college starts,so i used skype yesterday and ppl said there was a brain eating static noise coming from my mic,i reinstall the driver then check the mic boost and stuff same thing goes on,after that i tested with with voice recorder same thing goes on.So when i was in the store they didnt have the model coz of this they had to order to my home,what i mean is i paid at the store but they send it to my house,i really want them to replace it or some how fixe to issue,shall i take it back to store or do i need to mail to somewhere.İ prefer to take it back to store..please help

Hello. Sorry for the late response. I somehow overlooked your post.

I think the answer to your question depends on finding out who was the seller. Look on the invoice that came with the laptop. If it is a Best Buy invoice, then it has to handle the issue following its return policy. If the invoice is from Dell, then you must follow Dell's return policy.

If you want additional advice about this issue, I suggest that you post a question on the Customer Care board, or the New to the Community board which I think gives better answers. Your current thread is on the Laptop Audio board and we don't usually handle questions about returns on this board.

Skype has the ability to test your audio and play back what you say.  Did you do that?  You are using the /win 10 Skype version and not the old Desktop version?

Any chance you have an external headset or a Bluetooth headset to test?
