Dell Optiplex 3020/7010/ Precision T1700 (SFF) to custom casing ATX and PSU
Good day.
I plan to upgrade the casing and psu of a Dell SFF Precision T1700. Provided that I have ATX Power Supply Cable 24pin To 8pin For DELL Optiplex 3020 7020 9020 T1700 converter cable. Will I have success in doing the following:
1. Install Corsair CX550M PSU
2. Install In an ATX cassing
3. Install a GTX 1050ti Video Card
Question: Are the front panel usb, audio and mic standard pin? Most casing has individual pin where I can trace the mic and audio pins

Probably not. Dell typically uses custom connectors between motherboard and front panels, making case swaps complicated unless you can map the connections or find somebody else who has done it already.
The front panel in the Dell case probably has a circuit board in it. So if you swap cases, will the motherboard work if it's connected to a non-Dell front panel board...???
