Adapter Failover
Hi, I am trying to make sense of this alert, but I have come up empty. Does this indicate that one of our NIC's in our Team have failed? There are currently no critical hardware logs that indicate this.
An adapter failover has occurred. Adapter name: [0011] Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet #2. Team name: Team 1. Cause direction: 1. Adapter activity cause: 2
Thanks!
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the query.
Looking at the trap variables, link has failed over and is up now.
Cause direction = 1 = adapter is active
Adapter activity cause = 2 = link change

Thanks! I couldn't find where the alert list was. Is this in the Admin manual? I must have overlooked this.

The information mapping should reflect with alert description itself, it was missing for this specific alert definition in OME. This will get addressed in future.
