U2410, no longer working with DP or HDMI?
My U2410 has suddenly (after years of working well) stopped connecting via Display Port or HDMI connections. However, it still works perfectly with VGA.
I've reset the monitor to factory settings, tested both cables, replaced both cables and tried connecting another laptop through DisplayPort and HDMI with no success.
I have of course tried the projection settings on both laptops - Extend, Duplicate and External Monitor only.
The monitor displays "There is no signal from your computer", and then goes to sleep. However, if the DisplayPort or HDMI lead is removed, the message changes to "No HDMI cable".
Is it possible that the digital input receiver has blown, whilst still leaving the analogue VGA working?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Possibly. It is 7 years old.
Try this =
* Turn the computer off
* Turn the monitor off
* Disconnect all monitor cables from the computer
* Disconnect all cables (including the power cable) from the rear and side of the monitor
* If a mechanical monitor power button, press the button in for 30 seconds (clears any residual power in the circuits). If not a mechanical power button, just wait for 30 seconds
* Reconnect the power cable to the monitor
* Connect only one video cable from the monitor to the computer video card. Example below =
Video card HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> Monitor HDMI in port
* Turn the monitor on, then the computer
* Press the monitor Menu button, choose Input Source, choose HDMI, exit the Menu
Then do the entire process over and test =
Video card DP out port --> DP to DP cable --> Monitor DP in port
If both do not work, the monitor is faulty.

Thank you, Chris, for a prompt reply. I tried the steps you suggested to no avail, so have concluded that the digital board must be faulty. I've passed the monitor over to my wife who has only a VGA connector to her desktop, and ordered another.
