Unable to update R510 Broadcom NetXtreme II firmware via USC/iDrac/Lifecycle controller
Hello, we are unable to update Broadcom NetXtreme II firmware via USC (Unified Server Configurator)/iDrac/Lifecycle controller.
The USC indicates there are 3 firmware updates available (08.08.26, 7.12.19, 08.07.25) but when we attempt to apply the updates the USC returns a wrapper error. We are unable to locate the latest firmware update in the downloads section for the R510.
Any ideas where/how we can get the NIC's firmware up to date?

The easiest way would to run the individual DUP file from the OS. You will need to reboot afterwards. You're not all that far behind, you should be able to run the 08.07.26 DUP. Do make sure you update the OS drivers first though.

Another alternative - if you can get it to work - is to create a Linux bootable ISO from Dell's Repository manager with the relevant update and run that. Personally I'm having a lot of issues with the latest bootable ISO plugin for RM but you might have better success.
