X51R2 wireless card upgrade

I got an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 from my friend's laptop, for he updated his own network card. This card support both 2.4 and 5.2 Ghz as my old atheros card only support 2.4G.  After boot, windows device manager tells me "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" . I tried to update the driver, uninstall and installed the driver, disabled and enabled again, Intel PROset stuff and reboot, all failed.

Interestingly though, I have a Linux installation and when I booted into Linux it just worked flawlessly, so the card itself is not broken..

Any thing I can do with this?

Hi,

Are you using the driver listed on the Dell support site? Did you also try to reinstall Windows?
