Alienware m17x r2 problem

Hello i have a problem when booting my alienware m17x r2 5870 crossfire, intel i7 quad core 940x etc.So the problem is when i press the botton to turn the laptop on everything goes fine until in desctop screen where it just freezes and i cant do anything else then shutting it down with the power button. The only way it isnt freezing on the desctop screen is when i remove the AC adapter right after the Bios Screen. It's very frustrating please help. And i also have 1 more problem when booting i see something like MBR error 3 and i don't know anything about arconis and what this is and i beleave that arconis isnt the problem

Hi Pmful, try the steps in this article:

For the MBR error, MBR means Master boot record, to fix it, you have to access the command prompt, there's two ways to do that. First one is inside of windows, type "cmd" in the start menu search box, when you see the cmd , right click on it and select the option that says "run it as administrator". Second one would be outside of windows using the Windows recovery DVD that came with the system, so you have to insert the CD, restart the system, hit F12 during post and boot from the DVD, choose the "Lenguage", "Time" and "Keyboard input" and click . Then, click on "Repair my computer"  option to gain access to the System Recovery window and after that choose "Command Prompt".

After you are in the command prompt, follow the steps in the following link to type the commands necessary to fix the master boot record:
