Alienware 17 Base - Random Shut Downs & Slow Processing

So I have already contacted Tech Support via phone this past weekend, however, I have not received much help since.

My situation started about 10 days ago now, when I first received the Alienware 17 Laptop. The computer itself looked outstanding, and the initial appearance was great. I used the computer, initial time about an hour, to setup the account & download the AMD Silver reward (2) games, in order to make this more presentable as a gift item for Christmas.

I came back to the laptop the next day, and it would not turn on. The blue power cord connected to the Power Brick lights up blue still, however, the computer itself did not turn on.

I've taken the laptop components out, and put them back in, several times, as per request by tech support, but nothing had changed.

I struggled with this up until last night, 12/21, around 7pm, and it suddenly worked, for reasons I honestly do not know (i'm tech savvy, but this was odd. Even tech support was shocked). It seemed to work for about a 1/2 hour, boot up-time was about half of that time, and when I attempted to open anything up, it processed extremely slow, to the point where it felt like the system was halting.

After a brief viewing of a video on YouTube, the computer shut off by itself, and since then, I have yet attempted to turn it back on.

Both Tech Support, and I, believe this is to be a faulty motherboard component, but I wanted to post this to ask both moderators and community members of the forum their opinion.

Any assistance here?

Best Regards,

Jaiden

Yes I would say that there could be a problem with the motherboard, I will recommend you to send it to our repair facilities so they can troubleshoot and diagnose the computer properly and fix it for you.
