FAILURE HELP (Alien Autopsy)
I ran Alien Autopsy on my Alienware 13, so it isn't that old I got it in December. It said Hard Drive-ST500LM000-1EJ162 Failed SMART Short Self Test WHD16-BIG. I'm not sure what to do with this error so i need help. I'm hoping it isn't already dieing in about 2 months. So if someone could help me with this problem.

I'd try and run the free version HDTune in Safe Mode.
Run the Benchmark three times (take a screenshot of the last result) and Health test.
If you can take a pair of screenshots and post them here, it would be great.
Hopefully we can see in what shape is your hard drive.

So far the Hard Drive seems fine, do you mind running the last test as well: Error Scan.
(Doesn't need to be in Safe Mode)

It won't take two months to crash, but it can happen within the first year.
Support usually wants to make sure the hard drive is dead or the PSA gives out an error 2000-0142 to replace it.
So far, the hard drive is still in working conditions and I wouldn't be worried yet.
Just make sure you keep any valuable info backed up.
If you're still looking for solutions to it, you can go ahead and send me your Service Tag (Via Friend Request, just avoid putting it on the forums). I'll see what we can do.

I seem to have "lost" my ability to use Autopsy to check my computer. Any ideas as to where it went ?
