Alienware m17x r2 quad core intel i7 940x ati raddeon mobility 5870 crossfire Problem
Hello so i recently reinstalled windows and i havent updated the stroage drivers i experience some issues as MBR error 3 and another 1 which is pretty unexplainable.So when i go to dell support site i see some storage drivers but i am not pretty sure which 1 i shall install.
One more thing is is it just me or the newer cleanly installed ati drivers from amd site are causing me to have lower performance than the Dell ones ? BEfore with the dell once i had 14403P on 3DMark vantage and now with the new once only 7500P?

MBR3 seems to be an issue when people use a saved image to restore, acronis is bad for this.. there is way to fix this and a simple google search willl bring it up on fixing the MBR error, but requires a copy of windows CD you have installed ..
it sounds like your Xfire is disabled or cpu and/or video is throttling..... idk just a thought
if you go back to the original post you made about this you will see the link i posted... so please dont make multi threads for same issue please...

the problem is i dont have anything in common with arconis i dont know even what this is and also the crossfire is working but the performance is descreased double
