Download Recovery Image

Hi there,

I bought my Alienware 13 R2  with Windows 10. I'm trying to reset to the factory settings (just to clean the system), but I can't. I can see the recovery partition (health) and when I tried to use Alienrespawn (that I downloaded from Dell) an error appeared during the process ('Could not replace recovery environment' or something like that).

So, I decided to download a new recovery image from Dell support website and guess what? The download is terrible slow and never finish! I'm two days trying to do that, but looks impossible to complete the download. How can I deal with that?

Thanks in advance.

The recovery partition is damaged and therefore gone forever.  It cannot be cloned as it is encrypted.

There are NO DOWNLOADS for the recovery partition.

Microsoft has a media creation tool

If you need a Windows 10 copy: Download Windows 10

Since you use Windows 10, your product key is injected into your motherboard.

I had a similar thing and I decided to buy new SSDs and eliminate the recovery partition. Command Center installs normally and things are now fine.
