Problems whit the microphone
Since my case is this, I an monitor changed several times, the first was that I went spill in this, after this they sent me one wrong, after which they sent me the right one, but this "left" as is, then I turned to another and the technician was literally charge leds of the word "alienware" in the monitor, after which I so he turned to change, the problem with this last and they had everyone else but the first is that literally integrated microphone does not work, I mean listening to very low and with much noise, the truth is that I am arto this already and gives me thing of calling service that already I left an dropped that name is too and it is not "normal" and my question is does fault I have if? me you always send pieces wrong or in poor condition?

I am confused. Is your problem in reference to an Alienware Laptop or an Alienware standalone monitor?

I have the same problem, my microphone use to work fine, but since about 1 month is not working. I have a M14x. I look everywhere, all the configuration, I installed the realtek drivers again and I still have the same problem. When I try to record something I listen to me, but is almost impossible to understand a work that I was saying!!. When I use Skype is the same problem people do not understand me.
