{MOVED}Alienware M17xR4 BSOD
I just recieved my laptop and it BSOD on the first day around 7-8 times. Then I reset my window from recovery disk and the problem still persisted. I got whea_uncorrectable_error. If you want more detail please tell me , I'm in desperate need of help. Thank you

Hi peccaraze,
As you already reset the Windows with the help of recovery discs, I would suggest you to run the diagnostics on the system to check the hardware functionality. For more information on ePSA diagnostics and error codes you may click Here. You may follow the steps below for running the diagnostics :
If the diagnostics complete successfully, I will need a few more information on BSOD you are experiencing on system. Please follow the steps listed below to capture and share the relevant details:
1. Crash Dump data:
- Click 'Computer'
- Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump and tap
- Copy all the 'Minidump' folders and paste them to your desktop screen
- Please send these folders to me (I am sending my email address through a private message)
2. MSINFO32
- On the 'Start menu' (Windows), type 'MSINFO32' in the 'Search text box'
- In the 'System Information dialog box', on the File menu, click 'Save'
- In the 'Save As dialog box', make sure that the file type is 'System Information File (*.NFO)'
- Enter a name for the file > Click 'Save' and share the file with me
3. Event Viewer
- open the Event Viewer by going to start->run->eventvwr
- Click 'Save Log File As' (*.evtx)
4. Windows Update History logs:
- On the 'Start menu' (Windows), type 'windowsupdate.log' (without quotations) in the 'Search text box' > click OK > Save the file in text format (.txt)
- Share the log files
5. DxDiag file:
- Tap key combination
- Type 'DxDiag' and tap 'Enter'
- In the 'DxDiag window', click 'Save All Information'
- Save this file to your 'Windows desktop' and name it 'dxdiag' and share it with me.

Hi peccaraze,
I analyzed the bluescreen dump files. It appears to be an issue with the processor state. Please turn off overclocking of GPU and CPU (if any) and revert to stock values and then check if the issue persists.
I researched on the bluescreen error and found that some users got the same error code resolved by changing the SATA Operation.
As you mentioned that you ran Dell diagnostics using F12, however, the HDD test was taking time. Please share if any error messages popped up during the diagnostics.
In the logs it appears that McAfee antivirus program is also causing errors, however, it is not installed in your system. If you were using McAfee antivirus program and have uninstalled it, you may use the McAfee Removal tool from Here to completely remove the McAfee.
You may follow the steps below to make changes to BIOS and check if it helps :

I wasn't using McAfee , that maybe Bitdefender processes. Also , I use RAID 0 option since that start and I guess that I didn't OC anything. I'll try to test my HDD further.

Good to know that hardware diagnostics passed successfully. I would suggest you to observe the computer in safe mode so that we may eliminate any software issues and check if the issue persists. You may follow the steps below to start the computer in safe mode :

Check on C:\Program Files if there's a file called "Windows.old", if the file is there, the Operating system needs to be re installed following the steps below:

Now I'm in safe mode and I don't seems to have an .old file.

Hi peccaraze,
If the computer is working fine in safe mode, however, gives Bluescreen errors in normal mode, then it might be an issue with some software on your system. I see that initially you have mentioned about resetting computer with the help of a recovery disc. I would like to know if you created the recovery disc or have received the disc with the computer. If you have received it with the computer, does it say Windows re-installation DVD on top of it.
Please share the information. Will take it further from there.
