UP2516D, Light bleed-Take a look.

Hello,

I just bought the 25" Dell UltraSharp UP2516D and noticed some light bleed around the corners. Please see attached and tell me if it's normal?

The upper left corner seems to have a bit too much bleed.

* Turn the room lights on. Dell monitors are not validated in a dark room. All monitors are inspected per industry standard, which is with 150lux ambient lighting (similar to typical office lighting)
* Post pictures of the standalone BID (Built-in Diagnostics), page 56, and I will tell you if it meets our manufacturer specifications for overall uniformity

Hello Chris,

Thank you for your reply.

Ok, I followed your instructions. Turn on the room light and started the BID and here is what I got.

I can still see a very noticeable white bleed  on the upper left corner. This monitor is less than a week old, should I return it?

It passes our manufacturer specification for overall uniformity. We would not exchange it. For that price point $429 and 2560x1440 resolution, it is pretty good. Slightly better than the similar Samsung or Acer Predator. Your call on returning it.
