Precision 5520 Firmware 0.1.7.1 broke TB16
After having a mostly functional TB16 dock with Preciiosn 5520 (Ubuntu 16.04), I'm back to a crippled system. I believe the culprit was the update to firmware 0.1.7.1. USB and networking are both broken... Any help with troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

If you temporarily disable Thunderbolt 3 security within the BIOS, does that help?

Same for me. Had a perfectly working Dell 5520 + TB16 dock running Ubuntu 18.04. The firmware update has broken my external monitor. Ethernet etc are fine, it's just the external display via display port that won't work.

Unfortunately disabling thunderbolt security in BIOS doesn't help.
