XPS 15 9575, MaxxAudioPro and Bluetooth issue

XPS 9575 is very good laptop, and i enjoy it very much, but i found there are two issues i can't fix by myself, i need help.

First, the MaxxAudioPro was working fine when i receive the laptop, but after i install the official driver update (Downloaded on DELL website using my laptop code), the MaxxAudioPro can open, but all the sound effect not working. i tried all the driver version, it still not working, seems it won't work anymore.

Second, the Bluetooth was work fine at beginning, but when i use the laptop several hours, sometimes the Bluetooth driver disappear. the device manager shows there is an unknown device. i have to uninstall drivers and reboot several times to restore the Bluetooth.

XPS 9575 has only TYPE C port, i need the Bluetooth! can some body help me on that?

is that a hardware problem or just software driver issue?

I had to send the laptop back to dell, they replaced the wireless card with the integrated Bluetooth device. Everything seems to be back and working again. I'm hoping the wireless card doesn't burn it self up again.

You said you updated MaxxAudio drivers, how about Bluetooth driver? You may have conflicting drivers either in Maxx Audio, or Bluetooth or both. I would go into Device Manager delete both Bluetooth and Maxx Audio Drivers and reboot letting Windows install generic drivers for both. See if that solves issues. Some devices just do not work well with certain Bluetooth connections and besides that some connections do not allow certain functions to work. I think much of your problems are with drivers for those two functions.

I got the same bluetooth issue with the latest drivers. The bluetooth device disappears after some hours and even when it is showing some of my devices just don't work anymore.

Big no go.

said to hear that.

that means this problem is a batch issue, there must be more people having this issue.

I assume you've got the Killer wifi&BT?

Some XPS users managed to fix some Killer issues by removing the "suite" version of wifi&BT drivers, and replacing them with the latest "driver-only" version from the Killer site.

AFAIK in the 9575 the wifi&BT module isn't easily user-replaceable, but it can be replaced by replacing the "I/O board". If you gather enough evidence of BT disappearance, you should be able to convince support to replace it. At this point you can try demanding the presumably existing Intel version (drivers on the 9575 site do exist), which might not be prone to the same bug.

it shows: Qualcomm QCA61x4A Bluetooth.

the WiFi hardware is Killer 1435.

i hope is only software issue, i don't want to change anything, i just got this XPS 9575 several month.

I disabled Bluetooth one day and the now I can't find it in settings or device drivers. System bio show Bluetooth and I tried disabling it and turning it back on between boots with no luck. Replaced driver with both dells drivers and Bluetooth driver from manufacturer with luck. It **bleep** it's a new laptop that has no Bluetooth on it. I'm hoping with the rest of you that it;s not my laptop since it's only a few months old.

9575 2in1 the worst machine

2 support visits and replaced everything except the battery and back cover. But still not working.

I have another visit in 2 days.

  1. No Bluetooth
  2. Touchpad erratic
  3. Touchpad lower half not working
  4. black screen on wakeup
  5. Weird noises on wakeup
  6. no response after closing some apps

This is a beautiful looking machine but it does not work

I have 12 Dell machines and this is the first time I had to use the support

I have the same issue with maxxaudio after downloading the latest version for my 9575. The program says that the driver is out of date now on program launch, so I can't change any settings. It also won't detect headphones anymore since the dialogue box doesn't open to select a plugged in device. I tried rolling back the driver, same issue. It all worked fine before support assist told me to update the audio driver. This is ridiculous for a $2k machine.
