Alien Ware 17 R5 i7-8750H, 1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD, Very Noise

Hi Guys,

Again other problem I found after 2 months before I didn't have this problem with Alien Ware 17 R5 i7-8750H, my SSD drive is 256 GB which is for windows 10, and I installed a game on 1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD, I usually play for 6 hours or more but today when I start the game the  1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD is too noisy like something is broken inside like first HHD generation in Pentium 1 or 2, and while I'm in the game the noise is playing hard but when I close the game suddenly it will stop and everything works well...please guide me

Thank You With Best Regards

Any excessive noise from a hard drive is not good. Have you run diagnostics on your system yet? Boot the system and when you see the Dell splash screen start tapping F12. Run the full diagnostics.

Thank You all for didn't answer me...the answer i think for 90% is Coil whine, also known as electromagnetically excited acoustic noise and vibration or audible magnetic noise, is one of the most frustrating phenomena in modern technology. As its name suggests, this high-pitched noise is caused by electromagnetic coils that act as inductors or transformers.

I changed my laptop adapter from 240 watts to 330 watt because 240 watt didn't have enough power to charge the battery while play games, so because 330 watts is very heavy dell usually will not ship it to you until your battery dead, Does any dell lovers have any solution for Coil whine? or explain me what is going to happen ?

Thank You

Due to having a fully specced out Alienware 17, only a 330w charger could be shipped with it. By Dell themselves, only option I got when buying it.

I’ve never once had any of these sounds as your mentioning?
