XPS 15, battery already needs to be replaced?
I only got my brand new Dell XPS 15 a month ago and when I opened it this morning it's already telling me the battery needs to be replaced?? This doesn't seem logical. I've had laptops for 2+ years before needing to replace the battery. When I check the taskbar it says "91%, not charging", and when I go into the Battery Overview it says there are no notifications. I ran the Power troubleshooter and it didn't even have anything to fix. And when I try to "see which apps have been affecting my battery life", it says I haven't even used any apps on battery power in the last week! Yet through ALL of this, the computer immediately shuts down when I unplug it. What the heck happened? The computer is brand new! Does this happen often with Dell computers?

Batteries are warrantied for the first year. Contact Support for a replacement and maybe some troubleshooting to check for a cause.
