[SOLVED] boot guard verified dxe that is fail
One of my coworkers was getting the following error and his machine was not booting:
"boot guard verified dxe that is fail"
After trying many different things, I tapped F10 during the boot process (the words "F12 boot options" appeared in the upper right hand corner...not sure why), but it booted to windows.
Then, once I got logged in I checked to see if the BIOS was up to date. It was not. I downloaded the latest version of the BIOS for that particular dell model and the issue seems to have been resolved.

Hitting F10 let Windows boot, but there are still issues and I have not been able to run the BIOS update install file yet.

If you have BitLocker enabled, you need to suspend the protection to unlock the drive.

Having this same issue on several of 1000+ 9030 AIOs. Seems like we started seeing this after a BIOs update last year. Issue we are having is we can't boot to BIOS Settings or a USB stick to adjust setting or update BIOs. The machine instantly boots to the boot guard error.

I had the same error message on Latitude E7270 (laptop). I managed to solve it by eventually getting it to go to the boot menu, from which I could boot the OS and then flash the bios (or equivalently there is a flash option from the boot menu, if you prepare a USB stick).
The challenge is that pressing F12 to go to the boot menu still gives the error message, but occasionally (1 in 10 perhaps) I could get it to go to the boot menu, perhaps by some unknown combination of putting the power connector in while the Dell boot screen is on, pressing F12 exactly once at the right time during the Dell boot screen, maybe just persistence. (I have no idea if any of these things actually made a difference, but sometimes it could get to the boot menu).
