network configuration discussion
Dear All,
I have four front-end ports on NS480, and would like to config two link-aggregation links.
Cge0,Cge1 is first link-aggregation interface, and Cge2, Cge3 is second link-aggregation interface.
I will use above two links for data transfer.
I would like to create a FSN interface form above link-aggregation links for Celerra Replicator purpose.
Can I use link-aggregation interface and FSN interface at the same time?
And give them individual IP for data transfer or remote replication?
Thank you for any input.

Note: Do not configure IP addresses for interfaces on the devices to be included in the
FSN device prior to configuring the virtual device. This makes those interfaces
unavailable for use in the FSN device and results in an error message when you try to
configure them as part of an FSN device.
so you will need to assign interfaces after you have your FSN going. Have you also considered creating an FSN device that consists of trunk0 (cge0,1,2) and cge4. When you create your FSN you could designate trunk0 as your primary interface and cge4 as your backup. So in this case your trunk0 would be a "three lane highway" so to speak, give you greater bandwidth.

The Final configuration is following.
1. There are 2 tunking interface for data transfer:
Cge0, Cge1 ---> trunk 0
Cge0, Cge2 ---> turnk 1
2. Set extra IP address on trunk 1, for Celerra Replicator usage,and no redundant.
Use interconnect parameter to bandwidth control.

for trunk 1 ..is it really cge0 and cge2, not cge3 and cge2. I thought a cge device can only belong to one trunk.

Cge2, Cge3 --> trunk2
