CAVA checking is stopped(ERROR_AUTH 1909)

Hi ,

We recently found that the CAVA checking was not running, and the log shows below:

#nas_logviewer -f /nas/log/sys_log

…… DART: VC:ERROR:9:Slot 2:::1258445068:Error on server 10.82.20.108: ERROR_AUTH 1909, RPC program version 3, CAVA release: 4.5.0, AV Engine: Trend Micro. …… No virus checker server is available. Virus checking is stopped. ……

Please advice, thanks!

Hi,

there could be several reasons, but the most seeing is the user that starts the CAVA service on the AV server does not have AV privileges.

It needs to be on a local group with this specifyc right.

Please, check the rights for the user that starts the CAVA service.
