Monster VM v5.1 - per VM IO performance : 1M iops ?
Dear Community members,
During VMworld, VMware released vSphere 5.1 with beefed up specs per VM.
One of the big ones is the ability to achieve 1 million IO/s per VM.
I was wondering if anyone had seen a blog post or a whitepaper describing the architecture and the benchmark tests to back this statement ?
I know there is one for vSphere 5.0 showing 1M iops per host, I'm now looking for something similar showing it at VM level.
Thanks for any input available on the subject.
Eric.
