CX4-480 Default Login

I am a new resident onsite at a customer and the former SAN Admin is gone and they left NO passwords.

I've been told that the default passwords are still in place.

For the CX4-480 I've tried admin/password....admin/admin....Admin/admin....admin/Password and none of those works.

H E L P!!!

I'll give it a try and see if it works.

Thanks

Is there no way to login to the management port using the IP?

I just don’t know the IP.

i am afraid you will need to find "remote hands" to assist you with this.

Roger that……they just have prosphere in place here as well and I know if I change username and password on the system, I will have to also advise prosphere of the changes as well.

Thanks for all your help and support’

that would be IP/setup ..you still need to have the credentials to login on that webpage.

if it is, open a ticket with support and ask them to dispatch a local CE to help you with that.

Well let’s just pray and hope that I don’t need to create any storage on the CX4-480.

you still need to connect to the management port ( i mean physically connect RJ45 to the port on the SP and to you laptop). You must be thinking of a Unisphere for VMAX where you use port 8443 to connect to the application, no such thing on Clariion.

Isn’t there an extension like :8443 or something that I can put at the end of the IP Address…..
