Any way to make ScaleIO 1.32 works on Power Linux ?

Is there any plan to support the Power Linux platform ? It would be so much fun !

Since Power Linux run on a non-x86 platform, ScaleIO can't run on it. ScaleIO is only designed for x86 platforms.

ScaleIO is just C code, and can be converted to run on any open system or CPU type. While I admit it would be fun to have ScaleIO on Power Linux, we are currently investing all of our effort in the x86 world.
Note that we are occasionally considering ports to Power as well as ARM, but as stated above, we try to focus on the Intel world for now.

Ok, hopefully ScaleIO will be moved in 'opensource mode' next year with the current EMC strategy
