Scenario:Data Domain + DDBoost + NerWorker 8.0 Configuration
Ask the Expert: Data Domain + DDBoost + NerWorker 8.0 Configuration - Imagine that a document is sent out to 20 sites. Will DD hold 20 copies in the central site?

If you backup 20 sites, in backup catalog you will see 20 copies. On DD, first copy that gets there will contain unique chunks (there might be some already there from other stuff) and rest of 19 will have pointers only. That's what de-dupe does.
