How to restart avagent service on utility node

Please give process to start avagent service on the utility node. Also what is the impact of restarting avagent service on utility node?

Avagent on the Avamar utility node can be restarted as a regular Linux service by the root user in the same way as a regular Linux Avamar client.

service avagent restart

But, before doing that, why do you think the avagent service needs restarting?

Has the service previously failed to start or did it crash whilst running?

Is there a related issue which you are hoping that a restart of the service might address?

Or, are you following instructions which advise restarting the service (but don't explain how to do so)?
