Is there a way to find storage controller management interfaces Mac address ?

Is there a way to find XtremIo storage controller management interfaces Mac address ?Our network team is requesting the mac address of each interface to change some duplex settings of the interfaces on the network switch.

I have tried arp-ping tool and its reponding with sam mac of different storage controller interfaces.

Without root and in the absence of arping, your best option is to collect a debug log. Once extracted, you can browse the logs for each controller and look for ifconfig_-a.txt which lists details for each interface.

The location should be similar to: '\latest\X*-SC*\system\net\ifconfig_-a.txt

Avi, although this is true, the show-targets command output lists the MAC (Ethernet) address of the iSCSI Target port/s only. I believe the question was regarding the storage controller management interfaces.

Check the user guide and search for ‘MAC’. This information is shown in the show-targets command output.

Got it – but that IP address is used only internally within the array and the end user is expected to use the XMS IP address for all management tasks. Is the MAC address for the Storage Controller management ports being asked from a security scan/compliance perspective?
