Hello,

Could you please provide more informations:

- What kind of Initiators would you like to register ? (FC, iSCSI).

- Did you add your host manually or automatically (via a vCenter, for example)?

Please note that you can add initiators to a manually created host through Unisphere:

- Go to Unisphere > Access > Host

- edit the host properties

- Go to Initiators tab

- Click on the + icon

- Add your initiator

By the way, before trying to add manually a initiator I will try to understand why it does not register automatically. If it's a FC initiator, you could look at your zoning for example.

Hello,

We are using EMC unity300 ( version 4.0.2.8627717)

We have similar issue in my environment, We have checked zoning and Host initiators connectivity.

Zoning is perfect and host initiator connected on SAN switch. But when we are trying to register host on storage initiators are not visible automatically. Manually we have resisted and allocated LUNs to host ( but not visible at host level)

In some cases we have observed that initiators visible at storage console after 48 hrs. is there any solution for the same??
