How many sessions can be established between Avamar and Vcenter
Hello All,
I would like to know how many sessions can be established between avamar and Vcenter for the image level backups. My backups are getting failed with 10055 error which occurs due to permission issue. The same backup will get completed if I rerun in low load time. (nearly 400)
Lets say My vcenter has 6000 VM's and this vcenter is linked to 6 Avamar servers for backup. 7 schedules . one schedule will trigger ~100 VM backups frm single avamar or may be more depends on the VM's in the containers. (Thinking we have enough proxies). How can this be designed .
Any thoughts /suggestions would be much helpful.

Hi
I believe i heard that the maximum sessions is 500 for a default Vcenter setup.
So one idea could be to raise that limit.
As far as i understand the math it is 1 session pr. active backup plus the 5 from avamar itself.
I haven't run into this issue myself so you might wanna verify my numbers with support.
