Cannot install Dell Mobile Connect

I have a Dell Vostro 3578 purchased less than two weeks ago, is has Bluetooth. When I go on the Windows Store on the Dell Mobile Connect page it says that the app is not compatible with my device. How so?

What is the error message you get when trying to install the application?

Did you reinstall or restore the Windows operating system by any chance?

For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

How to locate the service tag

I have a Dell G5, the service tag indicate activation December 2018, but also get the error that my product is nit supported. Any help perhaps? I did replace the initial 128gb M.2 with a 500GB, with a fresh installation.

I have Dell Inspiron 3576 and it came with a mobile connect. As soon as I got the laptop, windows version update messed it. I had to reinstall windows 10 and now I can't install Dell mobile connect. I installed the driver, but still, on Microsoft store, it says redeem code.

Hello @SreejithR

When you say to click on a message tab, which website or app are you referring?

He is referring to how to send him a Private Message through the Forum.
* Click his name
* On the right, click, "Send this user a private message"

All users should read through the FAQ DMC (Dell Mobile Connect).

I have the same problem with my new XPS 13 9365 2 in 1. I tried installing the Dell Mobile Connect driver (https://dell.to/2POg3Pg), and it still says "not compatible". Any ideas?

I have done this, but it opens a web page for the Microsoft Store for the App, with a "get" button.  When I click "get" the Microsoft Store app opens, but still says the app is not compatible with my device (Dell XPS 7390 purchase one month ago).

Hello,
My laptop Vostro 3590 which was purchase around Feb. 9 directly from dell drivers are currently all up to date. I would like to know why dell servers when there is a new version on the drivers and apps dont update automatically to my laptop?
I have checked in control panel and no update has been made.
Thanks

Dell had me create a .bat file with this in it  then run it and reboot. Need to have the dell mobile connect driver already loaded before you try to download from the store,
