17 R4, audio issues, non-specific and random

This laptop is running windows 10. Randomly about 6 month ago random non-specific applications that once had full audio are completely silent. Nothing has been muted, none of the sound parameters change, and other programs work 100% fine. This is isolated to just my PC and mostly targets my video games. I check all the in program settings and they too are all set to maximum volume. There is certainly something wrong with this PC. I have tried completely reinstalling my audio drivers and nothing has been fixed. More information about my PC; its an Intel i7-7, has a GTX 1080, and the built-in audio is Realtek. I use headphones, I have tried numerous other headsets and no headset at all it makes no difference. The issue only happens randomly with specific games, and after months later they may or may not start working again. Is there anything I can do, listed under sound, video and game controllers I have an Intel, a NVIDIA virtual audio device, and Realtek audio.

When running the computers troubleshoot it says it has no solution, but says "Detected" - General Audio Driver with a small yellow triangle. I have no idea if this means it has a problem, but it will not give me any more information and the only options I have is to give feedback on troubleshooting and close.

Uninstall and reinstall the Alienware Command Center following the steps on this article.

If the issues persists, looks like you will need to reinstall the OS.

Yes, I just updated the BIOs and the problem is persisting with no change.

I will attempt to reinstall the OS today. I followed the guide to reinstall ACC, but it has not made any changes in the problem.
