xps 9570 glass screen crack
My 9570 has been running really hot and occasionally I will just close the lid at night without shutting down. The other day I noticed a crack running across the entire screen when I woke up. I keep the laptop on my desk and don't travel with it so it wasn't from a drop. Is this a common problem or defect in the screen? I have the touchscreen and the crack isn't even noticeable with it on, I'm just worried about it spreading more, especially being a touchscreen. Also is there any fix for the heat/occasional freezing up issue? I've ran the support check and nothing.

Went through the below steps but is still getting hot and freezing up occasionally. Updated to the bios release on the 23rd. I noticed it particularly freezes up when using opera web browser or playing leag of legends. The power 130watt supply brick also gets extremely hot. Premium support said my screen glass crack is not covered under warranty because it is physical damage even though I did not drop it or do anything to cause it.
