XPS 15-9560, touchpad popping out

We purchased a new XPS 15-9560 laptop on March 2018. The purchased one year warranty expired on March 7, 2019. Around April 2019 on wards, the touchpad slowly popping out. We never expected such a defect from just a 1 year old Dell Laptop. We bought this Laptop in U.S and now we are using it in India. We heard that this is a known issue and Dell is giving a free replacement for XPS 15 9550.

1) Does DELL do free replacement for XPS 15 9560 model also?
2) If YES, where to contact in India?
3) If NO (it is absolutely unfair from Dell side), how much will be the replacement cost in India?xps 15 9560 touchpad popping outxps 15 9560 touchpad popping outxps 15 9560 touchpad popping outxps 15 9560 touchpad popping out

We strongly believe, Dell should give a free replacement for this model also.

Thanks,

Even in the Dell latest model(XPS   15  9560) also the same problem is happing. It is just 1yr old laptops.IMG_20190518_165722.jpgIMG_20190518_165653.jpg

Dell should agree with its mistake first and replace all faulty batteries without any charge for all models.

We are facing the same problem (touchpad popping up) on our Dell XPS 15- 9560. Just 1 year old. Honesty is very important in any business. Dell should accept and replace all faulty items. Waiting for Dell honest answer and action.

You replied to a different laptop model threads. Started your own XPS 15-9560 thread. Merged all your post into one thread. Do not start multiple threads.

The purchased one year warranty expired on March 7, 2019.

Dell is not going to give you a battery for free or provide free installation of a replacement battery.

You have two choices =
* Use the Dell Out of Warranty Support offering
* You or a local technician should immediately remove the battery. Here are the online instructions. See page 19.

Once removed, use the out of warranty XPS 15-9560 on AC adapter only. You will then need to purchase another battery.

Here are the XPS 15-9560 battery part numbers. Use them to search on the web for a seller in your country.

Hi,

Dell XPS 15-9560 is the very latest model comparing  Dell XPS 15-9550. Please read comments sections of our previous message links and google it(please read comments section also). Many users specified Dell is giving a free replacement for XPS 15-9560 also(directly/indirectly).

You have to understand our pain also. Just a brand new system. The battery is popping out within a very short time. We already paid a premium price for this laptop. Do you still expect, customer needs to spend another few hundred dollars for battery replacement? After replacement, if the same problem happens next year, what can we do? How can we believe Dell products?. We need stable products only.

Where is Dell quality? Why do we need to buy Dell products(especially laptops) in the future?

Dell battery swelling problem is widely reported for 9530,9550,9560 models(google it). Seems this problem exists for a very long time. We have trust on Dell products. If the battery problem starts within a very short time, how to believe Dell products?

Still, we have lot of questions.
