New twist on computer support scams

Lots of us have been getting scam phone calls claiming they're from Microsoft etc and saying they need to fix our PC...right...

New twist today: Got a scam call from somebody claiming the company I contracted with for PC support and repair is going out of business and they want to refund some of the money I paid for the contract.

I never contracted with any company for PC support/repair so this sounds like free money for the taking. Sure, and the moon is made of cream cheese.  :BigSmile:

It must be phase of said moon because the robocalls are non-stop today. Just got another one saying I'm going to jail because...and that sounds like free room and board...!
