Inspiron 546s, gaming upgrades?
Hey everyone, I found an old Inspiron 546s at my parents house and I was wondering if there was a way to upgrade it for gaming at least just enough to play a few games like Fallout or some Gary's mod. I'm just getting into working with computers and just need a little guidance. This is what I have.
Dell Inspiron 546s,
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon II X3 400e 2.20GHz
Ram: 6.00 gb
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 3200
Hard Drive: Samsung HD642JJ 500gb
Disk Drive: PLDS DVD+-RW DH-16AAS

Windows 10 will work on this. Not supported but it works.
You install it clean from DVD and use the Windows 7 COA key to activate.

Thanks I'm going to check that out...I read In another post saying that the the AMD Phenom X4 945 is compatible. Would it be worth the upgrade?

S models do not support upgrade processors because they lack enough power.
