XPS 13-9380, VGA monitor, lose WiFi
Similar problem here. Brand new XPS 13-9380. I can connect to my external display through the USB Type-C dongle, but then I lose WiFi.

same issue here. new XPS 13 9380 and wifi problems since day 1!
Dell has even replaced the wifi card (whole motherboard) but problems persists.

This is frustrating as I need to work with two or more displays. When connecting my VGA monitor through the USB Type-C to USB dongle provided by Dell, I lose WiFi completely. Seriously considering returning my new XPS 13-9380.

Probably the result of a driver update that may have been delivered automatically through Windows Update, Dell Update, or Dell SupportAssist. You can try the "Roll back driver" button in the Device Manager properties there, but even if that works you'd then have to keep an eye for an application trying to push the update again. Alternatively, have you tried checking for WiFi power management options under Control Panel > Power options > Change plan settings > Change advanced options?

Click my DELL-name and private message me the following information;
- Your shipping address, phone number, and email address
Out here on the public thread;
- The XPS 13-9380 45w USB Type-C power adapter should be plugged into the left side TB3/USB Type-C power port
- Are you also using the DA200 adapter? If yes, is it plugged into the other left side TB3/USB Type-C port?
- If not the DA200, what specific dongle (Dell part number?) are you using to connect to a VGA monitor?
