17 R4, keyboard keys not working
Hi,
I got a Alienware 17 R4 that some of the keyboard keys are not working and not been working for a while. I have tried change the keyboard, reseat the keyboard cable update the bios. They keys are not working are w,s,f, backspace, num lock key 6.
They are all working when the laptop is been of for a while, but they stop working when the laptops gets hot. if I press hard under the Alt key the keys are working. Even though the laptop is a few years old it still a fast laptop so was not having to replace it for a few year still.

Well dont send it in under your warranty because they wont fix it. They will say they dont have the parts and send you some refurbished laptop that is not even worth the cost you paid for the first one. I have been let down so much by Dell that it brought me here just to see alot of people are having the same problem with their keyboard but the warranty doesnt help either just alot of wasted money.....
