Now you stated the reason - so the time 'delay' is at least 4 hours. That's what I could not verify from your first statement/the screenshot.

Let me suggest that you run nsrwatch and verify the workflow status from the command line. If it looks ok here, then the problem is obviously the GUI. in this case I would restart the NMC service. This will have no effect on NW still running in the background.

Otherwise, it is hard to point to a specific issue without further information. In this case, I would suggest an update and/or contact DellEMC support.

Why are you taIking about 'endless running jobs'? - I do not really see a problem ... yet.

All the save set have ended successfully - just the 'cover save sets' will take a bit longer because some internal cleanups have to be run. Of course that needs some extra minutes.

I never looked into our Exchange backups so carefully but so far I do not see a real problem.

Hi Bingo (again):

I am talking about the  state (icon that show up) . if all the jobs ended succesfully must show the succeded icon and not the running icon (like image). About the internal clean ups all the jobs run at night (now is 4 pm several hours laters) so the state at  this hour must be success.

The 9.x version of NetWorker have a number of bugs and NMC not showing the correct info is on most of the versions. We currently have 18.2.0.3 and this version seems to be working alright till now. In case you are on a lower version of NetWorker try upgrading at least your NMC to a higher version and see if this cosmetic bug does go away.
