XPS 15 9560 False 'Battery is low' warning on boot....
Hi,
My laptop has developed a fault whereby I'll get a Support Assist screen pop up EVERY time I boot, warning me that 'Battery is Low'.
I know there is nothing wrong with the battery, I've run the tests and it's coming back as battery health excellent, etc, so not sure how to fix this.
Also, thinking it might be an old warning in the log that keeps bringing the prompt up, I've gone to system logs>Bios events and tried clearing the log too. However, a couple of the messages in here will not delete (as seen in attached image)... and every time I restart the laptop, all of the messages reappear from the pre - Clear log state.
I've updated drivers/BIOS to latest versions, and still no joy. Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
GM

Try replacing the cmos coin cell battery. Cheap fix if that is the battery that is failing
