Trying to find the chipset for my Inspiron 5570. The specs are 8GB Core i5 Gen8.

I just need the name of the chipset for my device, the information about it is in the title. (Just in case this is needed I'll post the S/N) .

@Specs_please94  don't post Service Tags in public forums.  People could use that to submit an Ownership Transfer form for your system claiming it belongs to them.  In terms of finding your chipset, download a utility called CPU-Z, which will show your chipset and all sort of other information about your system that you might find interesting.  Or if you want something more targeted but less interesting, Intel makes something called the Chipset Identification Utility that does exactly what its name suggests.  You can find it on Intel's site, direct link here.  (EDIT: It seems that link now goes to a different tool, and I'm not sure that does what it's supposed to.  The original Intel utility I was thinking of seems not to have been maintained in a while.  But CPU-Z is still solid.)

@Specs_please94  sorry, I just re-read your post and saw that this system model has an Intel Core 8th Gen CPU.  In that case there isn't a separate chipset name because what used to be motherboard chipsets have been built into the CPU for several generations now.  So maybe it would be more helpful if you could provide more background on what you're asking about the name of your system's chipset.  What are you actually trying to achieve that's leading you to ask that?
