Torn between r8 and r10

So long story short, I'm interested in buying an r8 or r10. I like the amd, but the r8 has pretty good price. Was keeping my budget between 1,100-1,500.

The r10 would have a ryzen 3700x and the 5700xt graphics card. I'd update the ram and ssd in the next few months. I saw it only offers me a 550 watt liquid cooled power supply though, do you think that would be enough even in long term?

The r8 would be either the i7 9700 or 9700k, either a 2060s or 2070s haven't decided on this part either. The power supply would be 850w liquid cooled.

This will be my first PC in a long time, abandoning the PlayStation ship once I get this. I'm still learning about PC's. I'm handy enough to swap out the ram. I know will probably need to get extra since I've heard the stock ram is picky to work with other sticks. I also heard the r8 is a bit tough on breathing on the inside, is that true? Will the liquid cooling be enough?

Thanks I appreciate the input in advance.

@LincolnMateo    I also heard the r8 is a bit tough on breathing on the inside, is that true? I saw it only offers me a 550 watt liquid cooled power supply . Will the liquid cooling be enough?

The chassis for both R8 and R10 are essentially the same, so the 'breathing problem' is shared. To be clear, it is the CPU that has the AIO liquid cooling, not the PSU.

My opinion; if you are on a budget, you get more for your $$$ with the R8. Fortunately, it will support 9th Gen CPUs.

Plus, there will probably be memorial day sales, probably good deals on the R8.  Dell is presumably trying to clear out (discontinue) old stock like the R8 as it has basically been replaced by the R9 and 11.

Which also implies one should try to get expedited shipping (might be free for some EPP or Dell Rewards programs). Else you'll be jostling with everyone else who rushed in for the deal.
