Aurora R9, fan noisy, neighbor complains about drilling sound. Solutions?

Hello, I bought the Aurora R9 on Bestbuy. I will post the specs that Bestbuy had on their website. Anyway, whenever I play games, the fan goes on and my neighbors below have complained that it sounds like I am drilling into the floor. I have the tower inside my desk but on the bottom level.

I am looking for any type of solutions you may offer ranging from better placement of the computer to not shake the floor and make it sound like I am drilling up here, to upgrading the fans and such to make them quieter overall. I have seen posts where people mention liquid cooling and quieter fans. If you have any suggestions, can you be specific as to what it is and specific types that are compatible with the Aurora? I am not really familiar with Alienware so I would appreciate more specific responses. Thank you in advance

It’s inside of your Desk?

My X51 was inside of my desk and when the fans ramped up, I could feel the vibration coming from it inside of my desk.

Dont get a Liquid cooler unless you know what your doing. AIO coolers are kinda bad because they can sometimes fail over time and you have to replace it again.

Just don’t put the Aurora inside of your desk and put it on top of it instead.

Use this Program to control it.

@BryanDaBoss22    I am not really familiar with Alienware so I would appreciate more specific responses.

CPU AIO liquid cooling  Hydro Series H60

Better quality, more quiet fans  Corsair ML120 Pro (no LED, no RGB)

You could also place a rubber mat under the PC to drop the vibration noise, at least in the interim.

Replacing fans will not help a lot.

I have replaced all fans, in/out and cpu, but vibrations still there. Looks like this vibration coming from PSU or GPU, and not from fans. I have not identified the source of it yet... have PC on my desk, not on floor.

So as advised, try to place some rubber mat under PC, it will be better.

At least in my experience its better now, with rubber mat.
