How Do I Disable Pre Installed BitLocker Completely Without Erase

the BitLocker is causing me problems with my Dell Inspiron 14 3480 laptop and whenever I added a 500GB HDD alongside the OEM 128GB NVME drive it automatically encrypted my HDD with BitLocker

What operating system? Bit Locker comes with windows 10 Pro not with Home. But you have to lock the disk yourself. Did you install Pro? Which drive is locked? Explain how you installed the 500gb drive and any other relevant info so someone can help.

@Render03529  Go to Settings > Update & Security > Device Encryption and just turn it off. Or if you have Win10 Pro, go to Control Panel > BitLocker. Make sure Control Panel is in small/large icons view rather than category view.

@Mary G  Windows 10 Home has included support for using BitLocker only on the Windows partition (not everywhere else like Pro does) for a few years now on systems that meet certain hardware requirements, and Dell has shipped systems with BitLocker “staged” so that it instantly enables if the user links their Microsoft account to their Windows account. This has been discussed several times on this forum already.
