U3419W, MacBook, no volume control with keyboard, #2

I have a similar problem. The volume of the Dell U3419W can't be controlled via keyboard or taskbar from my non-supported Mac. How can I get mac drivers for my display? No issues on the supported Windows.

As I stated in that 2019 thread =

The U3419W driver page does not offer an Apple operating system driver. So Dell would not have any idea how the MacBook keyboard can "talk" to the U3419W internal volume controller? You should start a new thread on the Apple Forum discussing this. Perhaps other Apple users can find an add in 3rd party workaround.

I'm not using an apple keyboard if that makes a difference, just regular media keys.

So I have to ask Apple to develop a driver for my Dell device?
If you want the Dell monitor to work "from" their MacBook, then yes, Apple would need to write an Apple driver to work with our monitor. DELL-Chris M

How big are the chances apple's developer team even get this request forwarded?

So I spend 800 bucks for a device that doesn't have an apple driver?
The online U3419W driver page is very clear in the supported operating systems. Dell-Chris M

Thanks. This MonitorControl works, but really shocking that this does not work out of the box from Dell directly.
