U3419W, MacBook Pro 2014, flickers on and off

I just connected a new U3419W to my Macbook Pro 2014 running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and connected via HDMI. The U3419W flickers on and off randomly every few minutes and sometimes continuously every few seconds. I noticed on the forums that there are similar issues when connecting to this monitor via USB Type-C and a firmware update to M3B112 was recommended. I'm unable to find this update and I'm not sure if that will resolve the issues when connecting over HDMI. I tried multiple HDMI cables and ran the monitor self-diagnostic (no issues).

Thanks.

My U3419W is running M3B111. I've isolated the issue to this specific to the Mac over HDMI. I purchased a MiniDisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter and the monitor is generally working well (with a bit of random horizontal white line noise). There are also no issues when using on a newer usb-c mac or on Windows. Thanks.

rekdev,

Please click here for Dell Monitors and Apple computers.

What firmware is installed on this U3419W? Open Menu- Others.

M3B112 only corrected a specific issue =
* Two PC's connected to a single U3419W, one PC goes to sleep, the U3419W does not wake up
* M3B112 can only be installed on a U3419W that currently has either M3B103 or M3B107
* If your U3419W shipped with M3B111, you cannot install M3B112 because the M3B111 has a different LCD panel and PCB board
