New SSD not showing up
I replaced the internal hdd of my dell inspiron 1545 with sata ssd 240gb but nothing shows up in "my computer". What can be the possible reasons?
Is the ssd company faulty? Or does my laptop doesn't support ssd? Or something else?
Hey community, pls comment soon. Want this issue to be fixed real quick!

This system is designed for a 9.5 mm HDD -- the SSD is 7 mm max. You may need a spacer to mount it. Check to make sure it's connected to the system board. If it's not,

Did you partition and format it via the Disk Management console?
