M17x, cannot run games
My brothers Alienware M17x stutters and lags whenever it tries to run a game (Games like Rust and CS:GO), I'm not very tech savvy and this laptop cost alot to get for him, any ideas how to fix this? It also cannot connect to any bluetooth devices.

What M17x has he got? There is an R1, R2, R3 and R4, all of which are getting quite old now (but can be upgraded to a point). These were released up to 2012. From 2013 was the 17 R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5. More recent is the M17 R1 and R2.
Some things to try;
1: Update video driver from the Nvidia website
2: Open the machine and clean out the fans and heatsinks and repaste the GPU and CPU
3: Upgrade your GPU (Will depend on what M17x he has, (also the 17 R1 was replaceable)
