CAVA WORKING WITH CIFS
I stopped and started the CAVA service on the windows server it is running on.
How can I test that the AV engine is working with the CIFS server?

I tried the eicar AV test file and the AV engine picks it up when I am on the windows server, but if I put it out on the share, it does not pick it up. It says status OK. What should i have to do in order to start CAVA with CIFS share also.

try to apply the EICAR Test Virus Pattern
