Group-Directories

Hello,

i'm planning to provide (work)group directories, like homedirs, to our users. There are about 30 or so workgroups. Can Celerra create them by login-credentials, or group-membership like the homedir feature does?
I don't want a "big" groupdrive, where all groups represented as dirs. Oh, and i think i must set some quota on them either.
For now, i can only think of creating them manually as individual filesystems, but how to mount them? Via userprofile? or by a logon script. The groups are named with German umlauts, so i need some translation to mount them as shares.

no, we cant use the homedir functionality for this - this would be difficult since Windows doesnt have the concept of a primary group that Unix has.

I suggest to create them as treequota's and map then through the users profile

I agree with Rainer, we use tree quotas for workgroup type file shares, and it works great. Although we usually use UNC path shortcuts or manual mappings.
